Whether you want to relax by the pool or on the beach, or you are looking for excitement and adventure, Villa Keechanti is conveniently situated close by such diverse amenities.
Being so close to the coast, there are many well maintained beaches and coves dotted around within 10 minutes drive of Villa Keechanti. Towns such as Guardamar, Torrevieja and, La Marina are but to name a few that are all close by and have clean and inviting beaches. Torrevieja also has salt lakes which attract wildlife and are an ecological wonder. They claim to be beneficial to asthma and arthritic sufferers.
There is an array of restaurants addressing different cuisine's and tastes in Quesada and surrounding areas which are surprisingly inexpensive.
There are 4 main golf courses close by to the villa, (Villamartin, Campoamor, Las Ramblas, La Marquesa) which are ten minutes from Torrevieja.
While Alicante is the main shopping area, many surrounding towns of Quesada also offer excellent shops and markets. Torrevieja has a large shopping area, while Elche (30 mins drive) is an excellent spot to buy leather goods. Markets are held in various towns on different days and these are the best places to get good quality fresh produce. Quesada has its own shops and amenities such as post office, bank and newsagents.
Guardamar offers various water sports activities such as; sailing, water skiing, windsurfing scuba diving, canoeing and jet skiing. Quesada offers its own aqua park and tennis courts.
Approximately 12 minutes walk from Villa Keechanti is a nature reserve ideal for picnics and barbecues.
Mundomar is a marine and exotic animal park situated in Benidorm, north of Alicante. This park is home to penguins, turtles, dolphins, sea lions, parrots and much more. This is ideal for a day out with the children.
Guardamar also offer its own nature park with sand dunes, ponds forest paths, and bridges surrounded by pine trees. You can also find birds such as the purple heron along the coast of Guardamar.
A small town called Busot (24km North of Alicante) is home to the Caves of Canelobre. It has one of the highest vaults in Spain. Hiking routes are also available to enjoy its nature and some unique views of the whole region.
15 Minutes drive towards Guardamar is a Go-Karting Circuit suitable for adults and children from 4 years of age. There are different categories of karts which race at different times.
